GMI PS500 – Five Gas Detector
The GMI PS500 can be tailored to detect up to five gases with its toxic and catalytic sensors. This includes Photo Ionisation Detectors (PID) and Infrared (IR) capabilities. The “Plug and Play” option allows the customer to “plug in” a new board with a different gas range, whenever the user needs to.
The PS500 is particularly useful in noisy environments. Featuring a very loud (95dBA) penetrating and distinctive audible alarm, together with high visibility large area visual alarm. The PS500 can be used in the most demanding environments. With the option of pump, diffusion or both together, (allowing pumped sample for pre-entry checking and diffusion in confined space working). Furthermore the user can easily extend the battery life of this five gas leak detector. A robust, moulded, rubberised casing also guarantees Hi-Impact resistance.
Pumped or Non Pumped? You decide.
One of the best aspects of the PS500 is that it gives the user the option to use the monitor as Pumped or Non Pumped, whenever you require. You simply click a button to either turn it on or off, and you’re good to go.
This monitor comes with Data Logging as a standard feature. With a memory capacity up to about a year, the PS500 can record everything. Including when the monitor goes into alarm – through the session log feature. To add to this, you can also tailor each session to meet the requirements of each individual. Due to being able to log readings whenever you like.
Another feature is that you can also programme in individuals names and tags to each monitor, to allow for greater record keeping.
Pre-entry checking can be carried out with the optional internal sampling pump, and diffusion operation ensuring maximum battery life in confined spaces.
